1. Bubble Wand Lightsaber

What You'll Need

Remove the bubbles from the wand and set it aside. (optional)
Cut the top off of the container to have a long, thin tube.
Wrap the duct tape around one end of the tube until completely covered. This will be the handle of your lightsaber.
Use the black permanent marker to draw lines on the duct tape. This will give your lightsaber some extra details.
Open the glow necklace and put it inside the empty bubble wand.
Fold the glow necklace to fit inside the bubble wand.
Cap and screw the bubble wand so that the light is trapped inside.
The lightsaber is now complete!

A lightsaber popsicle holder is another Star Wars craft you and your kids would surely enjoy. These lightsaber otter pop holders are so quick and easy to make. Here are the supplies you'll need to make your own.

What You’ll Need

Gray felt fabric (color depends on your preference)
Red felt fabric
Black Felt fabric
Glue gun
Glue stick
Scissors
Ice pops

Directions

Cut a long, thin rectangle out of the gray felt. This will be the handle of your lightsaber.
Fold the fabric in half, lengthwise, and hot glue the edges together.
Turn the tube inside out so that the seam is on the inside.
Glue one end of the tube shut.
Cut the black fabric felt into strips. You will use this for the "buttons" on the handle of your lightsaber.
Glue the strips onto the handle in a criss-cross pattern.
Now cut a small circle out of the red felt. This will be used for the "button" at the top of your lightsaber.
Glue the circle onto the top of the handle.
Stick an ice pop inside and glue the other end of the tube shut.

What You’ll Need:

Start by cracking or shaking your glow sticks to try if it's working.
Next, cut a piece of gray duct tape and then wrap it around the end of the glow stick to create its handle.
Once you have created your basic lightsaber handle, you can use a black permanent marker to add dimension and detail to your swords, such as buttons or other features.
Finally, grab some friends and get ready for an epic lightsaber battle!

4. Insulation Foam Lightsaber

DIY foam insulation lightsabers are the perfect way to show your Star Wars fandom while saving some money. You can easily grab materials you have access to. And, they're not that difficult to make!

What You'll Need:

Foam insulation
Duct Tape
Scissors
Permanent marker

Directions

First, cut a length of pipe insulation to your desired lightsaber length.
Cut a slit down the center of the foam, being careful not to cut through.
Using duct tape, cover the other end of the insulation pipe.`
Wrap four lines of duct tape around the bottom of the lightsaber for the handle. Always start at the same place to maintain an identical seam pattern. Wrap the tape while facing the end of the lightsaber head-on. Using it from an angle could produce an uneven wrap on the handle.
Finally, use a permanent marker to decorate your lightsaber however you like! You can make it look like Luke Skywalker's, Darth Vader's, or create an entirely new design.`
Now you have your very own pipe insulation lightsaber that you can use to battle the Empire or protect the galaxy from the dark side!

Tip: Aside from a permanent marker, you can also use electrical tape. This will give your lightsaber some extra details and look even more realistic!
